We're looking for a highly motivated Intern to join our product team and support both the Product manager and our mechanical team. This internship is ideal for a final-year student from an engineering school student looking to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced startup environment.

Duration: 6 months

From: January 2025 (Flexible)


Skills & Experience
  • Final year student in industrial design, textile engineering (especially with a medical focus such as biomaterials or medical devices), biomedical engineering or ergonomy. (Master's level)
  • Strong interest in medical interface design and user-centered innovation.
  • Curious, autonomous, rigorous, analytical mindset, and sensitive to patient experience.
  • 3D modeling
  • Rapid prototyping (3D printing, cutting, foam shaping, textiles, sewing, etc.)
  • Knowledge in ergonomics and patient comfort
  • Good communication and teamwork skills, with ability to collaborate with multiple teams (clinicians, engineers, RA/QA, designers)
  • Awareness of medical device regulations (EU MDR 2017/745, ISO 10993, etc.)
Key Responsibilities

During this internship you will be in charge of developing a prototype for a MRI patient bed.The internship will be separated in three phase as bellow:

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Analyze clinical needs and translate them into design requirements (comfort, usability, MRI compatibility, cleaning, durability).
  • Conduct ergonomic studies and explore innovative design concepts.
  • Select suitable materials and manufacturing processes.
  • Create detailed 3D models and iterate on design solutions.
  • Build and test prototypes, organize usability evaluations, and analyze results.
  • Deliver a functional prototype and a techpack ready for industrialization.
