At Uni Systems, we are working towards turning digital visions into reality. We are continuously growing and we are looking for a professional Solution Architect to join our UniQue Strasbourg team.

As a Solution Architect you will design and guide the implementation of secure, scalable, and enterprise-grade systems. You will define architectural standards, ensure alignment with business and technical requirements, and support delivery teams throughout the full system lifecycle.

What will you be bringing to the team?

  • Analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into high-level architectural designs.
  • Design complex distributed systems (infrastructure, integration, application, data layers) aligned with enterprise architecture principles.
  • Develop SOA tiers, microservices architectures, event-driven and messaging systems (Java, REST, GRPC, Kafka).
  • Integrate hybrid cloud solutions and container-based platforms (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift).
  • Define and enforce architectural standards, security-by-design principles, and compliance with EU and industry regulations.
  • Build and orchestrate web services and integration workflows (ESB, BPEL, APIs).
  • Participate in design sessions, code/design reviews, and creation of use cases and technical documentation.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure effective system delivery and lifecycle management.
  • Follow established methodologies (Agile, CI/CD, release management) to ensure quality, traceability, and consistent implementation.
  • Assess emerging technologies and support innovation initiatives

Requirements
What do you need to succeed in this position?

  • Master's degree (or equivalent) plus 9+ years of IT experience, including at least 3 years in SOA architecture and development
  • Strong experience designing distributed, enterprise-level systems using Java and integration technologies.
  • Hands-on expertise with Linux/UNIX environments, networking fundamentals, and enterprise infrastructure.
  • Deep knowledge of SOA, ESB, middleware, and service design standards (BPEL, UML, WSDL, XML/XSL, SOAP, REST).
  • Strong understanding of microservices, cloud, container platforms, and event-driven architectures.
  • Solid grounding in security, auditing, logging, policy enforcement, and performance monitoring.
  • Experience applying architectural standards and governance in complex environments.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies; project management certifications (PMP/PRINCE2) are a plus.
  • Architect certification (Open Group or equivalent) strongly recommended
  • Excellent command of English (spoken and written)
