We are looking for a skilled
Automation Engineer
with strong experience in
Playwright
to join our QA team.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts, with a focus on ensuring high-quality software delivery in an Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Microsoft Playwright (TypeScript/JavaScript or Python).
  • Collaborate with developers, QA analysts, and business teams to understand requirements and create robust test scenarios.
  • Implement automation best practices, reusable frameworks, and maintainable test code.Perform functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing through automation.
  • Integrate test automation into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions).
  • Debug and troubleshoot test failures and identify root causes.Ensure timely execution of automated test suites and provide detailed reports on results.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest automation tools, frameworks, and best practices.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 6+ years of hands-on experience in Test Automation.
  • 4+ years of experience with Playwright.
  • Strong proficiency in TypeScript or JavaScript (Python experience is a plus).
  • Solid understanding of QA methodologies, testing types, and SDLC.Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Knowledge of version control systems (Git) and CI/CD tools.
  • Strong debugging, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Good communication skills in English (verbal and written).

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with BDD frameworks (e.g., Cucumber).
  • Exposure to API testing (Postman, REST Assured, or similar).
  • Basic understanding of containerization (Docker) and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
