My English School is looking to recruit a Director of Studies for our Lyon 3 (Préfecture) centre.

Responsibilities:

  • recruitment, training and management of the teaching team
  • didactic reference point for students and staff of the school
  • manage the school timetable and the activities offered to students
  • ensure teaching and learning quality.

Requirements:

  • certified English teacher (CELTA, CertTESOL, etc.)
  • 3+ years of English teaching experience
  • native-level English speaker (mother tongue or C2 certified)
  • proactive, positive, flexible, empathetic and professional

Please note that we can only accept applicants with permission to work in France (either EU passport holders or French residents).

Availability:

It's an on-site role, so we're looking for candidates who are either in the city already or able to relocate.

You'd need to be available to start training in February.
