About ICAP
ICAP, part of TP ICAP group, provides a wide variety of execution and information services to wholesale market participants.

We offer broking services covering a wide range of asset classes, including Commodities, Credit, Equities, FX, Money Market Funds and Rates.

For each asset class, ICAP offers e-trading capability, giving clients the option to enter prices and execute trades directly via one of our hybrid electronic trading systems, or to engage with brokers who can identify and negotiate trades

Role Overview
This is an entry level opportunity on the ICAP Equities Structured Products desk in our Paris office. We are seeking a driven and personable candidate. The team will provide the successful hire with on-the-job training and vast exposure to the fast-paced financial markets. We are ideally looking for a bright and enthusiastic individual that can work autonomously and collaboratively in a small team and can think on their feet. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of highly experienced team and would be perfect for somebody looking to start their career in Financial Services.

Role Responsibilities

• Promote TP ICAP Group.
• Provide primary support and desk assistance to Lead French Broker; and additional support to London brokers for the smooth running of the desk.
• Ensure timely and accurate input of trades into booking, trading and reporting systems.
• Resolve internal and external trade and settlement queries. Ensure any trade discrepancies are resolved in a timely manner.
• Keep trade records up to date.
• Run end of day reports.
• Support brokers on ongoing projects..
• Provide trade details to brokers and traders when required.
• Monitor markets and follow financial news and developments.
• Understand the underlying products being traded and keep up to date with knowledge of new products/procedures.
• Liaise with clients, (via telephone, messaging and face to face) to understand the business objectives of your clients as to provide a reliable and efficient broking service.
• Provide cover to clients, when team members are unavailable.

• Excellent communication skills with fluency (both written and oral) in English and French.
