TETMET is a Deeptech company based in Amsterdam and Paris, making large scale advanced lattice structures available at industrial scale for Aerospace, Automotive, Defense and Energy industries.

Our technology enables customers such as Volvo, Stellantis, Space agencies like CNES and ESA, Airbus and Safran to manufacture structural parts in lattices, much like the structure of the Eiffel Tower but on the scale of individual components or full vehicle frames.

We use advanced robotics, machine vision, laser technology, controlled artificial intelligence.

On top of the manufacturing technology, the company also licenses CAD and Simulation tools for the design of these parts and Applications Engineering services.

TETMET's technology makes lattice structures available to the masses at great efficiency. It ourperforms the promise of Additive Manufacturing due to its inefficiencies, and it opens up new alternatives to composites. Additionally: manufacturers love the toolingless, low-CAPEX principles.

Job Overview

As a Concept Designer, you will help visualise ideas before they become engineered products. You will focus on early-stage exploration, creating inspiring sketches, moodboards, and visual narratives that spark imagination and guide future directions. Your work will be key in shaping how TETMET communicates design possibilities to clients and internal teams.

Job Description

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Creating early-stage visual concepts for products, structures, and experimental ideas.
  • Developing moodboards, sketches, renders, and visual directions to communicate design possibilities.
  • Exploring "what if" scenarios and pushing the boundaries of materials, forms, and structures.
  • Collaborating with engineers and technical teams to align visual concepts with feasible solutions.
  • Supporting presentations with compelling visual storytelling.
  • Contributing to the development of a "lattice" moodboard to inspire clients and internal teams.

Profile

We are looking for a highly creative Concept Designer with the following qualifications:

  • Degree or equivalent experience in Industrial Design, Transportation Design, Product Design, or a related field.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating early-stage concept exploration, sketches, renders, or visual storytelling.
  • Proficiency in digital sketching, illustration, or 3D modeling tools (e.g., Photoshop, Illustrator, Procreate, Rhino, Blender).
  • Ability to translate abstract ideas into clear, inspiring visuals.
  • Interest in future-oriented design, technology, and innovative materials.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Fluency in English is required.
