About the role
As a Product Trainer, you will be based n our Lyon office and you will play a pivotal role within the Sales and Marketing organization, responsible for building and delivering comprehensive Enphase Energy training programs. You will leverage your expertise in instructional design and training development to equip customers and partners with the knowledge and skills to maximize the value of Enphase products. While this role is anchored in the Lyon office, it offers flexibility for remote work, combined with customers site visits 2-3 days per week, along with occasional travel to Enphase locations for collaboration with colleagues.
What you will do
- Develop training programs: Design and create sales and technical training curricula in collaboration with product development, sales, and marketing teams. Your programs will be tailored to meet the needs of customers, covering both new product launches and existing Enphase solutions.
- Deliver impactful training: Conduct both in-person and virtual training sessions for customers and partners, enhancing their understanding of Enphase products to support the sales process. Your training delivery will be key in positioning Enphase as a trusted leader in solar technology.
- Maintain training resources: Ensure training materials, equipment, and facilities are up-to-date and available for ongoing delivery across regions. You'll manage the logistics of training sessions, ensuring smooth execution and a high-quality learning experience.
- Master product knowledge: Continuously stay informed about Enphase products, customer requirements, and competitor offerings. Effectively communicate the unique value and benefits of Enphase solutions to diverse audiences, ensuring that training content reflects the latest technological advancements.
- Collaborate on a European training strategy: Work closely with your peers across Europe to co-develop and implement a cohesive training strategy, ensuring consistency in training delivery and knowledge sharing across the region.
- Experience: A minimum of 3 years of experience in a technical training role, and experience within the renewable industry.
- Education: A bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience is preferred, along with a solid understanding of electrical engineering principles and technical know-how.
- Language skills: Fluency in French (C1 level minimum) and English (B2 level minimum). Addition languages preferred.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact with a range of stakeholders, including customers and installers.
- Training experience: Proven track record of developing, organizing, and delivering technical product training. Experience in conducting live seminars, webinars, and creating recorded online video content is essential.
- MS Office: Strong PowerPoint skills: Able to create polished, data-driven presentations with clear visuals and consistent formatting.
- Remote work skills: Strong self-management, organizational, and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a remote environment. You have a demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers, peers, and managers.
- On-camera presence: Must be comfortable appearing on camera for presentations, meetings, and recording YouTube video.
- Passion for renewables: A genuine passion for the renewable energy sector and a desire to contribute to its growth by empowering others through education and training
- Location: Must be based in the North-East of France
- Willingness to travel: Flexibility to across France, Switzerland and Luxembourg, to deliver training and meet with colleagues.
