Founded in 2021, Biomemory is a global pioneer in DNA data storage. We are a well-funded startup developing rackable computing hardware for data centers, using synthetic DNA as a storage medium.

We are curently a team of 30+ employees based in Paris.

Your Mission

As the Office Manager, you will be at the heart of the company, serving as a key pillar for daily operations and a go-to point of contact for the teams.

Reporting directly to the management, and working closely with Tamina (HR & Talent Acquisition Manager) and Léna (Finance & Admin Manager) you will ensure a smooth and efficient work environment, contribute to overall workplace wellbeing, and make life easier for everyone in the company.

Responsibilities

Office & General Services

  • Manage office operations (suppliers, maintenance, orders, equipment)
  • Organize office spaces and continuously improve the working environment
  • Monitor contracts and service providers
  • Support financial administration, including invoice management and assisting with internal accounting processes (e.g., via Odoo)

HR & Administrative Support

  • Manage employee onboarding and offboarding
  • Handle HR administrative tasks (documents, absences, health insurance, meal vouchers, etc.)
  • Serve as the interface with external partners

Team Life & Culture

  • Organize internal events (board meetings, team buildings, team moments)
  • Actively contribute to a positive and collaborative workplace atmosphere

Your Profile

  • At least 3–5 years of proven experience in a similar role
  • Highly organized, reliable, and autonomous
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a facilitative approach
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Comfortable with digital tools (
    Google Workspace, Swile Travel, PayFit, Notion,
    etc.)
  • Good command of English (some colleagues are native English speakers)
  • Nice to have: knowledge of
    Odoo
    platform

Work Environment

This is an on-site role, based at our offices at
5 Impasse Reille, Paris 14ᵉ
. The workspace combines modern, classic-style offices with state-of-the-art laboratories, designed to foster collaboration between IT specialists and biologists. This setup supports our mission to tackle challenges in DNA synthesis and writing while encouraging interdisciplinary collaboration and innovation.

Recruitment Process

  1. Introductory interview with our Talent Acquisition Manager (45 min)
  2. Case-study and culture fit interview with the Corporate team: Tamina, Talent Acquisition Manager, and Léna, RAF (90 min)
  3. Final interview with our CEO, Erfane (30 min)
