Job Summary
SummaryResponsible for managing medium to large-scale projects within an assigned functional area or across multiple entities. Takes ownership of the project lifecycle overall by guiding teams and staff, facilitating communication between stakeholders, and monitoring progress toward project goals. Ensures that the project is completed successfully and provides support to team members and stakeholders as they complete essential tasks.

Essential Functions
-Develops comprehensive project plans, monitors and manages projects from initiation through completion.
-Secures required resources and uses formal processes and tools to manage resources, budgets, risks, and changes.
-Manages projects to ensure on-time completion according to specifications and within budgeted costs.
-Communicates regularly on project status with project stakeholders.
-Owns project plans for medium to large-scale projects.
-Provides guidance to project coordinators.
-Identifies potential risks early, analyzes the possible impact, and develops mitigation strategies

Education
Bachelor's Degree Related Field of Study required

Experience
Project management experience 2-3 years required
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Strong knowledge of project management tools and methodologies.
- Excellent presentation skills, with the ability to communicate complex concepts in a clear and engaging manner.
- Proficiency in project management software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Clinical Trial Management:
- Monitors patient recruiting on clinical trials - working with the Division Chief, CRCs and the Senior Admin Manager, tracks current recruitment on active clinical trials studies and oversees recruiting costs with Build Clinical to ensure cost benefit of service on a monthly basis.
- Tracks salaries/effort of staff on clinical studies and ensures that billing/revenue matches expenses.
- Works with Senior Admin Manager to develop new clinical study budgets to ensure that all costs are built into the preliminary budgets with sponsors.
- Works with clinical research assistants to generate invoices for studies and check that all procedures are invoice able.
- Monitors revenue from sponsors to ensure a match with invoices.
- Develop projections to show activity on clinical studies and future staffing needs.
- Manage accounts payable for all divisional projects, creates requisitions to pay vendors, set up contracts with existing vendors, tracks payments received.
Administrative/Operations Management:
- Administrative Support for Divisional Chief and other leaders as required.
- Management of Student Visitor program.
- Management of Staffing, including Research Assistants for the Geriatric Psychiatry Research Program.
- Lab space certification, portable device inventory etc.
- General lab admin. (lab website, updating manuals etc.)
Divisional Pre Award Management:
- Works with Senior Admin Manager to develop new pre award administrative budgets and associated documents.
- Utilize Insight to submit pre award items and track submission and award setup.
New Skills to Learn:
- Learn how to use Insight for tracking costs on studies and revenue for clinical trials.
- Learn how to use OnCore for patient costs and invoicing.
- Other projects as asssigned.
