We're looking for a HS&E Manager for France to join our team. The person will be based in our Morangis office.  

Purpose of the role: You will lead the development and effective implementation of HSE culture, policies, procedures and assist in a sustainable culture of HSE across France reporting to our Customer Service Director.

What you will do:

Risk Management

• Conduct and review risk assessments, method statements, and safe systems of work.

• Identify hazards, evaluate risks, and recommend effective control measures.

• Support managers in implementing corrective actions and monitoring their effectiveness.

Policies & procedures

• Establishing a process and policies of active health and safety monitoring and support of local H&S programs and ensuring compliance with local legislative requirements across the region

• Ensure adherence to policies, procedures and standards.

Incident & Emergency management

• Serve as primary contact for injury and incident notification,

• investigation / root cause analysis, and incident management, including implementation of lessons learned.

• Support emergency planning, fire safety arrangements, and first aid provision

Training & awareness

• Assist and deliver HSE training to staff

• Assist HSE induction to new starters and existing employees

• Evaluate new safety technology and monitor the distribution of safety equipment.

• Promote and facilitate key safety initiatives per management requests

Audit, Reporting & Continuous Improvement

• Assist in the HSE internal and external audit program (as required)

• Prepare reports on safety performance, trends, and improvement opportunities.

• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives aligned with VELUX values and sustainability goals.

• Collaborate with different internal stakeholders to drive HSE agenda topics (Global, region, P&O, CSSCT, Facilities, wider management teams),

• When required, champion as needed, HSE initiatives across Southwest region

Required skills, qualifications and experience:

• Have a minimum of 5 years of experience from working with HSE, preferably in an international environment

• Good communication skills both in French and fluent in English

• Able to encourage and coach others, when it comes to compliance with legislation and VELUX standards

• Analytical mindset with strong problem‑solving abilities.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively across functions

• Able to work across multi-cultural environments and matrix environment

• Effective administrator, well organized and methodical

• Computer literate, experience with MS office packages

• Able to travel up to 30 days per year.

Qualifications

• University Degree Qualifications in related discipline preferred

• NEBOSH General Certificate (minimum) or equivalent.

• Experience with ISO 9001, 14001 / or 45001 will be a plus

• Have the CSST (Certificat de Compétences en Santé et Sécurité au Travail) is desirable.

• Additional fire safety, first aid, or environmental qualifications are an advantage

Votre mission

Nous recherchons un(e) Responsable HSE France pour rejoindre nos équipes. Le poste est basé à Morangis et rattaché(e) au Directeur Service Clients France.

Vous êtes responsable du développement, du déploiement et de l'ancrage d'une culture Hygiène, Sécurité et Environnement (HSE) durable en France. Vous veillez à la mise en œuvre efficace des politiques, procédures et pratiques HSE, dans le respect des exigences réglementaires et des standards VELUX.
 

Vos responsabilités

Gestion des risques

• Réaliser et mettre à jour les évaluations des risques, analyses de méthodes et systèmes de travail sécurisés.

• Identifier les dangers, évaluer les risques et recommander des mesures de prévention adaptées.

• Accompagner les managers dans la mise en œuvre des actions correctives et en assurer le suivi.
   

Politiques et procédures

• Définir et structurer les processus et politiques de suivi en santé et sécurité, et soutenir les programmes H&S locaux.

• Garantir la conformité aux exigences légales locales et aux standards internes VELUX.

• Veiller au respect des politiques, procédures et normes HSE.
   

Gestion des incidents et situations d'urgence

• Être le point de contact principal pour la déclaration des accidents et incidents.

• Mener les investigations, analyses des causes racines et piloter la gestion des incidents, incluant le déploiement des actions correctives et des retours d'expérience.

• Contribuer aux plans d'urgence, à la sécurité incendie et à l'organisation des dispositifs de premiers secours.
   

Formation et sensibilisation

• Concevoir, organiser et animer des formations HSE auprès des collaborateurs.

• Participer aux parcours d'intégration HSE des nouveaux arrivants et à la sensibilisation continue des équipes.

• Évaluer les nouvelles technologies de sécurité et assurer le suivi des équipements de protection.

• Promouvoir et déployer les initiatives sécurité à la demande du management.
   

Audit, reporting et amélioration continue

• Participer aux audits HSE internes et externes (selon les besoins).

• Produire des rapports sur la performance sécurité, les tendances et les axes d'amélioration.

• Contribuer aux démarches d'amélioration continue en lien avec les valeurs VELUX et les objectifs de durabilité.

• Collaborer avec les parties prenantes internes (équipes globales, régionales, P&O, CSSCT, services généraux, management élargi).

• Être, si nécessaire, un ambassadeur des initiatives HSE sur la région Sud-Ouest Europe.
   

Profil recherché

Compétences et expérience

• Minimum 5 ans d'expérience dans une fonction HSE, idéalement dans un environnement international.

• Excellentes compétences en communication en français et anglais courant.

• Capacité à accompagner, sensibiliser et faire monter en compétences les équipes sur les sujets réglementaires et standards HSE.

• Solide esprit d'analyse et fortes capacités de résolution de problèmes.

• Autonomie, rigueur et capacité à travailler en transversal dans un environnement matriciel et multiculturel.

• Sens de l'organisation, méthodique et à l'aise avec l'administratif.

• Bonne maîtrise des outils bureautiques (MS Office).

• Disponibilité pour des déplacements jusqu'à 30 jours par an.
   

Qualifications

• Diplôme universitaire dans un domaine en lien avec la santé, la sécurité ou l'environnement (souhaité).

• Certificat NEBOSH Général (minimum) ou équivalent.

• Connaissance des normes ISO 9001, ISO 14001 et/ou ISO 45001 appréciée.

• CSST (Certificat de Compétences en Santé et Sécurité au Travail) souhaité.

• Des certifications complémentaires en sécurité incendie, premiers secours ou environnement constituent un atout.
