We are looking for an
O2C Analyst – Credit Notes & Refunds
on a
12-month Fixed Term Contract
to join our Global Finance organisation, within a transforming Order to Cash (O2C) environment.

Beyond the execution of Credit Notes and Refunds activities across Southern Europe, this role contributes sustainably to financial performance, operational reliability, continuous process improvement and customer experience, within an international EMEA finance setup.

You will be part of the Order to Cash (O2C) team and operate in close interaction with regional and international stakeholders across Finance, Sales and Customer Operations.

The objective of this role is to secure sustainable execution, improve process maturity and enhance transparency across the Credit Notes & Refunds perimeter, while supporting ongoing O2C transformation and improvement initiatives.

This is a hybrid role requiring 3 days per week in our Paris office (La Garenne).

What You Will Do

Operational Delivery

  • Execute credit notes, refunds and related receivables accounting operations
  • Ensure accuracy, timeliness and compliance with O2C controls and policies
  • Handle high-volume operational activity, managing priorities and deadlines

Credit Notes & Refunds Management

  • Review, validate and process credit note requests received via CRM tools and Excel files from:
  • Sales teams
  • Customer Service
  • Collections / Credit Control
  • Process customer refunds
  • Perform account reconciliations and clearing (cash application / matching)
  • Post manual journal entries for adjustments (payment discrepancies, customer account errors, fees, split payments, withholding tax – export context)
  • Update payment schedules and agreed payment terms
  • Integrate losses and/or gains files

Process & Controls

  • Ensure traceability and compliance with procedures
  • Formalise, maintain and improve operational procedures and work instructions
  • Support standardisation and operational stability
  • Manage disputes and requests with professionalism and diplomacy
  • Collaborate closely with Sales, Renewals, Customer Operations and other Finance teams

Reporting & Analysis

  • Produce and maintain operational reporting (recurring and ad-hoc)
  • Build, update and analyse Excel-based reports and dashboards (credit notes tracking, controls, backlog, ageing, volumes)
  • Provide clear visibility on drivers, trends and operational risks
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of existing dashboards

Projects, Improvement & Transformation

  • Contribute to local, regional and global O2C initiatives
  • Participate in process improvement ideas, testing and implementation
  • Support Finance teams during tool, process and practice evolution
  • Actively use and promote AI and automation as levers for operational efficiency and process optimisation
  • Demonstrate an analytical, structured and improvement-oriented mindset

Qualifications

  • Fluent French (written and spoken)
  • Strong proficiency in English (daily use in an international environment)
  • Prior experience or strong interest in Finance, Accounting, O2C or Cash Management
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Comfortable working in high-volume, fast-paced environments
  • Strong analytical, organised and autonomous profile
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Ability to manage activity peaks and unexpected situations
  • Strong interest in international finance operations and EMEA environments
  • Ability to identify improvement opportunities and contribute to their implementation
