Our MACOM European Semiconductor Center (ESC) located in Limeil-Brévannes is looking for a number of Production Technicians to join our team. Successful candidates will follow technical documentation and use complex equipment to ensure our manufactured products meet performance tolerances and specifications.
Primary responsibilities:
• Utilize technical knowledge and experience to develop a working understanding of MACOM production parts theory-of-operation, along with the manufacturing processes used to produce them
• Develop full proficiency in a broad range of activities related to the job
• Conduct testing and other evaluations of production parts
• Work independently with limited supervision, to meet production goals
• Troubleshoot and diagnose root cause of failures in production parts to the component level and perform follow-on corrective rework
• Maintain required production records including entry of test data into SPC databases.
• Report any inconsistencies or equipment issues per standard procedures
• Make recommendations for continuous improvement of processes and procedures
• Strictly follow all MACOM safety protocols, and all procedures for safeguarding and handling of products
In addition to the above, the role may have the following responsibilities:
• Set up, adjust, verify, and maintain equipment
• Train new technicians
• Participate in production and engineering batches where appropriated, workinging with Engineering to introduce new products into manufacturing.
• Participate in Lean Manufacturing efforts including SPC, Kaizen, Poke-Yoke, 5S
• Group/team leadership
Education and competencies:
• Associate degree (or equivalent) in a related technical field and 4+ years' experience in a manufacturing operation technical role
• Good skills in Microsoft Office
• Coding skills are a plus
• Fluent in French
• Intermediate level English
