Job Summary:
As part of a strategic initiative to enhance digital transformation, the Network Engineer will be essential in developing a simplified and efficient network infrastructure. This role emphasizes strong expertise in F5 load balancing solutions, infrastructure automation, and cloud application migration. Ideal candidates will possess extensive experience and skills that contribute to the success of a robust network designed for scalability and security.

  • Location: Paris
  • Remote work: 3 days per week / full-time assignment
  • Profile sought: Senior Consultant
  • Duration: 3 years, long-term assignment

Main Responsibilities:

  • Design, deploy, and maintain F5 load balancing solutions, including VIPs, pools, and profiles.
  • Lead the decommissioning of Viprion hardware and migrate VIPs to F5 Virtual Edition on Cisco ACI Fabric.
  • Troubleshoot and support F5 infrastructure for optimal application performance and availability.
  • Develop comprehensive documentation including designs, configurations, and migration plans.
  • Collaborate with teams to gather requirements and ensure security and scalability.
  • Participate in capacity planning, performance tuning, and resilience strategies.
  • Implement upgrade paths and disaster recovery strategies for F5 environments.

Key Requirements:

  • Minimum of 6 years of expertise in F5 load balancing.
  • Proficient in automation utilizing Terraform, Ansible, and Python scripting.
  • Experience in VIP migration and infrastructure automation.
  • Strong familiarity with BIG-IP configuration and hardware decommissioning.
  • Comprehensive understanding of Cisco ACI Fabric integration.
  • Solid grasp of load balancing, application security, and network integration best practices.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience working in a professional English environment.
  • Knowledge of current trends in load balancing, security, and automation tools.
