Test Automation Architect – Strasbourg (EU Citizens Only)

Duration:
1 year (renewable)

Rates: 80% on-site / 20% off-site:
€600/day (on-site) / €300/day (off-site)

50% on-site / 50% off-site:
€500/day (on-site) / €300/day (off-site)

About the Role

We are seeking a
Test Automation Architect
to join an exciting client project in Strasbourg. This is a key technical leadership role for someone who thrives in designing and implementing robust test automation solutions across UI, backend, and data-driven systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and implement test automation strategies, frameworks, and patterns (UI, backend, and data-driven).
  • Design and maintain scalable, reliable, and maintainable test automation suites.
  • Review and optimize test cases to maximize coverage and reliability.
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to serve as quality gates.
  • Embed test automation results into test management tools for visibility and traceability.
  • Mentor and support test engineers in automation best practices.
  • Lead proof-of-concepts and champion automation adoption across teams.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Strong expertise in
    test automation frameworks and design patterns
    (UI, backend, data-driven).
  • Proven hands-on experience
    building and maintaining test automation frameworks and suites
    .
  • Solid understanding of
    CI/CD pipelines
    and their integration with automated tests.
  • Experience integrating test results with
    test management and reporting tools
    .
  • Proficient coding skills in
    Java
    (JavaScript/TypeScript also a plus).
  • Excellent problem-solving and mentoring abilities.
