Our 425-member team offers customer service to a wide range of groups and clients throughout Canada. Our virtual CRCs are associated with several physical locations (Montreal, Lévis and Mississauga). Our services cover all aspects of customer service for group insurance and group retirement savings plan member services. Our sector is undergoing a major transformation as we implement the Group Benefits and Retirement Savings Division's modernization solutions. This transformation is expected to continue over the coming years and will also include the modernization of the Desjardins Group interaction platform (CXone). The core objective of our mission and projects is ongoing improvement and an optimal client experience. As a senior business strategy advisor, you help design and improve business processes and organize activities and operations for the Group Benefits and Retirement Savings Division's Client Relations Centre teams. You lead practitioners on development projects and innovative, complex strategic initiatives. Your initiatives require extensive, in-depth knowledge of your specialty area. You make recommendations on the development and execution of projects and initiatives with a high degree of operational and conceptual complexity. You use your analytical skills and comprehensive, detailed understanding of your line of business and the organization. Coordination is critical. You interact with many stakeholders working in a wide range of fields. Interpersonal savvy is therefore essential. You serve as a specialist advisor and subject matter expert, as well as a resource person for decision-making bodies. Your expertise, interpersonal savvy and ability to balance multiple interests will be essential to succeed in this role. More specifically, you will be required to :

  • Determine and coordinate the contributions needed to carry out activities related to business plan priorities, based on the unit's strategic issues and in collaboration with the administrative units involved

  • Develop business strategies by collaborating with the units involved

  • Demonstrate innovation by creating solutions that are aligned with business objectives and a cross-sector vision

  • Identify ways to improve processes and make sure they're implemented

  • Analyze the impacts of solutions on the organization and ensure their integration, in particular through a strategy focused on change management, training and communication that supports the teams as they implement solutions

  • Represent management on working groups and projects

What you bring to the table

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field

  • A minimum of six years of relevant experience

  • Please note that other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered

  • Experience in operational impact analysis and change management

  • Strong communication skills in both French and English, both oral and written due to the nature of the duties or work tools or because the position involves interactions with English-speaking partners, members and/or clients

  • Knowledge of group insurance

  • Knowledge of the client relations centre field
