We are currently seeking a Rotating Machinery and Equipment Engineer (M/F) to report directly to the Head of the Engineering Department and join our team based in Lyon.

About Technip Lyon:

About the role we are offering:
You will join the Rotating Machinery and Packages department and report to the Rotating Machinery and Packages Manager.

On international industrial installation projects in the fields of gas, hydrogen, recycling, petrochemicals, chemicals and industry, you will be technically responsible for selecting rotating machinery (pumps, compressors, agitators, etc.) and packages (multidisciplinary process units comprising several types of equipment, such as pumps, pressure vessels, piping, valves, electric motors, instrumentation, control systems, etc.).

You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams (piping, processes, electricity, instrumentation, purchasing, recovery, inspection, project) to centralise requests, clarify requirements and resolve technical issues.

As a Rotating Machinery & Packages Specialist, you will receive support in developing your skills to take on the following responsibilities as part of project implementation:

Prepare technical specifications and tender and order requirements

Perform technical analysis of supplier/manufacturer bids with support from other disciplines

Conduct technical clarification meetings with suppliers/manufacturers

Monitor the technical execution of equipment orders by reviewing supplier/manufacturer documentation

Participate in manufacturer workshop tests

Your profile:
You are a graduate engineer with a general or specialised degree in Mechanical, Energy and/or Process Engineering and you have 2 to 10 years' experience or more.

You are dynamic and motivated, organised, enjoy working in a team and are interested in studying and solving technical problems in an international environment.

You are fluent in English and French and are available for short-term assignments in France and abroad.
