Marketing Assistant - Cosmetic Ingredients [Permanent position / CDI]

The Innovation Company manufactures innovative and high-performance ingredients for SkinCare, SunCare, Colour Care and Hair treatment materials technology.

We address global markets and we are recognized for our scientific expertise and our passion for beauty science know-how. Our R&D, Bulk Special Products (SP Labs) and Testing laboratories (IVISLABS), as well as our raw materials manufacturing plants are located in Dreux (28, France) and Karvia (Finland).

Missions

As a Marketing Assistant, you will be the interface between our headquarters and our distributors and agents. You will support customers with both marketing and technical knowledge, ensuring optimal promotion and use of our cosmetic ingredients.

Daily tasks:

  • Handle technical inquiries from customers and distributors (marketing and technical documentation)
  • Coordinate requests with internal teams (R&D, Formulation, Testing, Regulatory Affairs)
  • Manage sample requests and ensure proper follow-up
  • Provide technical pre-sales support (ingredient selection, consumer benefits, claims)
  • Participate in technical presentations, trainings or customer meetings when needed

Media:

  • Provide support in drafting professional mailings
  • Update customer databases
  • Write content for marketing materials according to guidelines

Project management:

  • Support the organisation of professional events (seminars, exhibitions in France and abroad, business trips, etc.) and visits all around the world
  • Update and enhance the company's promotion tools
  • Support various cross-functional projects (contract drafting, ad-hoc analyses, etc.)

Permanent full-time position (CDI), located in Dreux (28) (no remote work accepted).

Salary commensurate with experience.

Profile

  • BSc or MSc in Marketing, Chemistry, Biology or related field
  • Proven professional experience in cosmetics, cosmetic ingredients, or luxury industry (internships and apprenticeships excluded)
  • Strong interest in cosmetic ingredients and technical environments
  • Comfortable in a hybrid role combining marketing and technical consulting
  • Well organized, proactive, with strong communication skills
  • Fluent English (mandatory)
  • Fluent French
