Job description:

A high-standard private household in Paris is seeking a full-time, permanent Gouvernante (Housekeeper) to maintain the cleanliness, organization, and presentation of the residence in the 8th arrondissement in Paris.

The successful candidate will be responsible for high-level cleaning duties including vacuuming, dusting, polishing, floor maintenance, and caring for delicate surfaces such as marble, silverware, fine fabrics, wood, and glass. Laundry and linen care are required, including changing and refreshing bed linens.

They will manage household supplies, anticipate stock needs, and report replenishment requirements to the general housekeeper or household manager. The role also includes collaborating with a team of 2 other housekeepers and the chef and assisting in meal and beverage service when necessary.

Discretion, integrity, and complete confidentiality are essential in this role, as the housekeeper may be exposed to sensitive information about the family and their guests. The ideal candidate will be professional, respectful, and capable of working autonomously while upholding the highest standards of household service.

Security awareness and immediate reporting of any concerns are required, along with a strong commitment to maintaining the family's privacy and safety.
