  • Provide
    technical and people leadership
    , guiding agile engineering teams.
  • Design and evolve
    high-performance, highly available microservices
    with observability built in.
  • Roll out new services or enhance existing ones to meet product needs.
  • Collaborate with product teams to shape new requirements and solutions.
  • Play a key role in
    building the team from the ground up
    and fostering a culture people love.
  • Be part of the
    M&S Accelerator leadership team
    , driving strategy and execution.
  • Stay close to the code—while not coding daily, you'll give hands-on guidance to teams.

What you'll bring:

  • Experience mentoring and evaluating engineering teams, with a track record of scaling systems sustainably.
  • Strong practice in
    incident response and blameless postmortems
    .
  • Backend:

    AWS (Lambda, S3, RDS, SNS & serverless-first architecture)
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, including with executive stakeholders.
  • Proven problem-solving skills in complex environments.
  • Education:
    MSc in Software Engineering / Computer Science (or equivalent).
