P&C Reinsurance Pricing Specialist - Paris
Oliver James is currently assisting one of their esteemed clients in the Banking industry in their search for a seasoned P&C Reinsurance Pricing Specialist. This is a rare opportunity to join a robust actuarial team in a permanent role focused on reinsurance pricing and product development.
Role & Responsibilities
* Formulate risk assessment models for property and casualty reinsurance products.
* Develop pricing strategies and models to effectively price new and existing products.
* Collaborate closely with product development teams to design reinsurance solutions that meet market needs.
* Provide actuarial expertise across various departments to ensure alignment and understanding of pricing strategies and models.
* Stay updated with market trends and regulatory changes that affect reinsurance practices.
* Prepare detailed reports and presentations for senior management to aid in decision making.
Key Skills Required
* Robust knowledge and proven experience in Property and Casualty (P&C) reinsurance pricing.
* Strong analytical skills and proficiency in using actuarial software and tools.
* Exceptional ability in product development within the reinsurance sector.
* Adept in statistical and financial analysis.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present complex information clearly.
* Creative thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
* Strong teamwork and collaboration skills, along with the ability to work independently.
