The Battery Cell & Module Process Expert & cost engineer, under the authority of the HVBC Cost Manager is accountable for evaluating the cost of Battery Cells & Module materials, cell & Module production, having deep knowledge of any process step, cycle time, machine and manpower needed together with the corresponding costs.
Responsibilities
- Maintain state-of-the-art knowledge on standard Cell & Module production process and relative cost
- Deep knowledge on main evolutions and technologies: solid state, dry coating, super capacitors, …
- Release Cell & Module total cost in accordance to Stellantis methods & tools
- Operate in tight conjunction with Engineering, Project and Purchasing to reach a competitive process cost in compliance with all technical, time and quality requirements
- Presentation of costing results to management & stakeholders
