Missions

AURIVA-Elevage is recruiting a genetic technician to monitor the YPERIOS 95 program as part of its crossbreeding activity with dairy breeds.

Working in the meat genetics department, you will be involved in
monitoring genetic creation
and carrying out
on-farm checks to evaluate INRA 95 bulls.
The Missions Are Structured Around The Following Themes
Genetic creation:
You will support the implementation of creation and embryo transplantation actions, lead the network of breeders involved in the program and be responsible for monitoring the births of program calves.

Evaluation:
You monitor morphology-growth controls at the breeding station. You will score purebred animals and crossbred calves for progeny testing.

Promotion:
You will take part in promoting the YPERIOS genetic offer as an expert in meat crossbreeding in dairy herds. You will take part in photo and video shoots, in the preparation of animals and in the organization of presentation days.

Profile

Senior technician or professional degree
preferably
specialized in animal production
, with initial experience in a

technical position related to the veal or dairy sector.

A hands-on person, you have a
good knowledge of cattle breeding
and animal monitoring.

Good interpersonal skills,
interest in teamwork.

Thoroughness and autonomy
.

A liking for working with animals.
English preferred,
a second language would be a plus.

Contract

Full-time permanent contract available as soon as possible.
