Interior architect/FF&E specialist
Laplace is seeking an interior architect/FF&E specialist to join its team in Paris, France.
Laplace is urgently looking for a motivated, talented and ambitious young designer with a minimum of 3 years of professional experience to work in its Paris office on high-end interior residential projects.
Candidates will assist our project managers and senior architects in our high-end interior design projects and should be excellent team players.
Responsabilities:
- Assist the design team with specific research requests into design items eg furniture, lighting, tiles and other materials
- Work on furniture research, moodboards and presentations
- Prepare furniture plans, furniture proposals
- Monitor 3D visualization relating to FF&E
- Support administrative aspects of a project
- Work on the digital and physical library of resources
- Request samples, sort, file and price up samples
- Prepare furniture, fabrics et shipping schedules
- Organize and follow up of projects invoices and orders in collaboration with Textile Designer and Lead Operation Coordinator
- Keep organized digital and printed project folders and all documentation
- Assisting with project installations
Profile:
- Team-player with a helpful and flexible attitude
- Good client liaison and confident communication skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
- Well-organised
- Experienced in staying calm and focused during projects to deliver on time, under pressure
- Well-educated and good presentation skills
- Confident, organised, attentive to details, proactive and always eager to learn more
- Familiar with auction houses and furniture gallery
Employment requirements:
- EU passport
- Lives in Paris or able to relocate immediately
- Fluent in English, proficient in French, Spanish would be a plus
- Ready to start asap, status negotiable
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Rhino, InDesign, Photoshop and Microsoft Office is imperative
- Good understanding of VAT and basic budgeting and accounting
