Job title - Fragrance Intelligence Analyst

Location – Paris, France

Key Responsibilities:

• Reverse engineer fragranced market products by utilizing GC/MS and GCO as per Perfumer request and business needs.
• Along with the other analysts, locally and globally, ensures that all requests are handled and delivered with standardized laboratory protocols.
• Ensure short-medium-long term deliverables are aligned with global strategy
• Perform market product extractions (e.g. SPE, SPME, liquid-liquid).
• Report data to enhance current AI and Digitization projects.

You Bring:

• Experience in reverse engineering of consumer fragrance market products utilizing GC/MS, Headspace, and other techniques.
• Proficient in the identification of perfumery raw materials by both analytical tools and olfactive ability.
• Proficient in SPE, SPME, liquid-liquid, steam distillation and other extraction techniques.
• Able to perform maintenance and troubleshooting of the equipment used.
• Good proficiency in using, maintaining, and improving existing databases.
• Able to perform data treatment with basic to advanced software tools.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Master's degree in analytical chemistry.
• Strong experience in analytical chemistry with at least 3 years of documented successes in a similar role.
