As part of its development strategy, RATP Dev is positioning itself on the Operations & Maintenance of the Belgrade Metro project. The commercial opening of Line 1 is scheduled for 2030, with two additional lines planned in the following years. From 2026 onward, RATP Dev will contribute to project integration and lead the opening preparations for Line 1.MAIN PURPOSEThe Digital System Director oversees the delivery and integration of digital systems supporting O&M activities. This includes supervising cybersecurity measures, coordinating with suppliers, and ensuring that all systems meet operational needs and comply with engineering and assurance processes. The role also promotes innovation and ensures readiness for trial operations.
RESPONSIBILITIESAs part of their role, the Digital System Director will be expected to carry out the following activities to ensure successful implementation of O&M systems:
General
- Support O&M systems, interfaces, and assurance processes defined by RDSerbia
- Contribute to risk and hazard management
- Follow system engineering and assurance processes
- Report progress on O&M system implementation
- Contribute to configuration management
O&M Systems
- Supervise implementation of O&M systems per RD HQ recommendations
- Apply make-or-buy principles to select optimal solutions
- Review and support local suppliers
- Ensure delivered systems meet O&M needs
- Oversee cybersecurity controls and systems (SIEM, NIDS)
- Conduct test and commissioning programs before trial operations
Program & Budget
- Share key O&M milestones with stakeholders
- Assess D&C progress and identify risks
- Manage budget and propose cost optimizations
- Report monthly to the finance manager
Innovation
- Promote innovative solutions to support modern O&M activities
- Encourage adoption of digital tools and practices
EXPERIENCE & SKILLS
- Proven experience in project delivery, program management, and system integration
- Strong background in digital systems and software development
- Experience in implementing cybersecurity controls and tools (e.g., SIEM, NIDS)
- Familiarity with configuration management and system assurance processes
- Ability to manage budgets and optimize costs
- Excellent communication and stakeholder coordination skills
- Experience working in complex infrastructure or transport environments
QUALIFICATION
- Degree in Engineering or B.Sc./M.Sc. in Physics, Electronics, Power Supply, or Computer Science
- Knowledge of system engineering and assurance frameworks
- Understanding of cybersecurity principles and digital system architecture
- Experience with railway operations and maintenance systems (preferred)
