Job Purpose
- Based on the direction from the Line Manager responsible for managing relationships and engagement with B2B partners and key stakeholders (internally and externally) in order to maximise Emirates visibility in the market. Actively support Emirates' ambitious customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives. Provide knowledge and expertise/support regarding market trends, opportunities, partnerships and sponsorships.
- Create, develop and establish awareness of Emirates' products and services in the market and ensure these remain at the forefront for the trade/corporate agents and partners from the industry. Act as a point of reference for all departments working with the Business Partners/Key Stakeholders to ensure continuity and consistency across EK products.
- Provide the required support to the Senior Business Development Executive in the implementation of the annual marketing plan. Regularly monitor the budget and ROI for each initiative and ensure regular updates are passed on to the Senior Business Development Executive, in collaboration with Sales Manager. Highlight any budget discrepancies and bring these to the attention of the Senior Business Development Executive.
- Ensure that the EK trade website is kept up to date with information related to all channels. Manage the dot mailer communication to the market and animate our community of agents.
- Support the commercial and sales teams with various administrative tasks but not limited to contract set up, administration of events and other administrative tasks. Action requests when they are on the road and prepare tailor made sales presentations in line with local market approach.
- Develop and provide the required support to sponsorship deals for the management team.
- Research track and develop commercial partnership activities, recommend changes to management and based on direction ensure changes are actioned and implemented and keep all stake holders informed.
- With the direction from the Senior Business Development Executive, enhance commercial relationships with Business Partners and Stakeholders (Trade and Corporate partners, Mobility and Feeding partners, Skywards, other partners such as associations) in order to increase business value proposition, revenue and develop Skywards revenue contribution and base.
- Animate local Skywards database in coordination with local Skywards campaigns in coordination with Senior Business Development Executive not only through Sponsorship portfolio, but also via ad-hoc events. Leverage these initiatives to communicate and promote Emirates' latest news and updates.
- Prepare tailor-made sale presentations for sale teams in line with local market approach.
- Sponsorship deals ensure all bookings and activity is logged in line with contract agreement and reported to relevant line manager.
Qualification
- A good standard of university education or Business school or equivalent.
- Minimum of 4 years' experience in airline sales or marketing support role or similar commercial role, with at least 1 year in a marketing/communications-focused role.
- Strong commercial focus, with solid knowledge of B2B partners relevant to Emirates' activities and brand positioning.
- Analytical skills.
- Advanced Experience level in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Excellent writing /editorial and presentation skills.
- Creativity
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to represent the Brand during Business-to-Business and Business-to-Customer events.
