Role Summary

We are looking for a
Senior DevOps Engineer
with strong experience in the
energy or grid domain
to support, automate, and optimize CI/CD pipelines and cloud-native infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with modern DevOps tools, container platforms, and cloud services, while applying
Lean and Agile principles
to improve delivery efficiency and system reliability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain
    CI/CD pipelines
    using tools such as
    Jenkins and GitLab CI
    to enable reliable and scalable deployments.
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and deployment using
    scripting languages (Python, Shell)
    .
  • Manage and optimize
    containerized applications
    using
    Docker and Kubernetes
    .
  • Deploy, monitor, and maintain applications on
    cloud platforms (AWS and/or Azure)
    .
  • Collaborate closely with development, QA, and operations teams to ensure smooth release cycles.
  • Apply
    Lean and Agile DevOps practices
    to improve workflow efficiency, reduce deployment time, and enhance system stability.
  • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot production issues, and ensure high availability of services.
  • Support DevOps best practices such as infrastructure as code, continuous monitoring, and security compliance.
  • Contribute to documentation, process improvement, and knowledge sharing across teams.
  • Work within energy or grid-based systems, ensuring solutions align with domain-specific reliability and compliance requirements.

  • 5+ years
    of overall IT experience

Relevant Experience

  • 5 years
    in DevOps roles

Mandatory Skills

  • 3–5 years of hands-on experience
    in DevOps roles within
    energy, utilities, or grid domains
  • Strong understanding and practical application of
    Lean and Agile principles
    in DevOps workflows
  • Experience with
    CI/CD tools
    such as Jenkins and GitLab CI
  • Proficiency in
    Python and Shell scripting
  • Experience with
    Docker and Kubernetes
  • Hands-on exposure to
    AWS and/or Azure

Desired Skills

  • DevOps best practices
  • Agile & Lean methodologies
  • Cloud-native architecture understanding
  • Monitoring and logging tools exposure (nice to have)
