Reporting to the FP&A Cash Manager, you will participate in the various planning, analysis and reporting activities including

  • Co-ordinating the direct and indirect cash planning method across the regions and departments
  • Driving the cash forecast following both methods, analyse the actual positions, obtaining explanation for the main variances and driving improvements in the cash position as well as the planning processes
  • Ensure actuals FCF integrity through driving the Direct indirect mismatches at minimum level
  • Working closely with Regions and challenging the data provided by them to ensure reliable FCF forecasting at Group level focusing on both cash in and cash out
  • Working closely with Treasury to support the liquidity management of the company through estimating and validating the Net Cash/( Debt) position
  • Understand, analyse and challenge the Project Working Capital to ensure the delivery of long term positive FCF position for Alstom
  • Contribute to the development if a long term PWC forecasting tool consolidating ODYC and bid cash curve data
  • Control the quality / reliability of reported data to ensure a solid basis for decision making at all levels
  • Interface with other Departments (Product Lines, Tender & Project controlling team, Investor Relations, Commercials, Strategy, etc.) to provide reliable information and get functions "experts" insight on some topics
  • Assemble presentations for executive committees, top management and various other stakeholders
  • Provide ad hoc analysis on KPIs with a strong focus on FCF and Project Working Capital
  • Prepare business reviews template for top management and management committees
  • Prepare management reports for published accounts and external communications
  • Ensure the reporting system structure is up to date for actual and planning cycles
  • Prepare actual and planning instructions to regional finance teams
  • Contribute to the improvement of tools to optimize efficiency and reliability
  • Participate in the change management initiatives (systems/application roll-out, organisational changes, …)

Performance measurements:

  • Forecasting accuracy above 95%
  • On time delivery of reports and analysis

Requirements:

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business
  • 5-7 years of experience in Finance/Controlling/Audit
  • Prior FP&A, Cash or Project Controlling experience is a plus
  • Experience in Supporting Various Management
  • English at working level is necessary

  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Strong team player and contributor
