Senior MEMS Design Engineer

I am recruiting for a Senior MEMS Design Engineer to join my client's team in Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes. This role offers the opportunity to work on the design and industrialisation of next-generation sensors.
Responsibilities Will Include, But Are Not Limited To
- Lead new MEMS design projects, either internally or with academic and research partners
- Optimise the design of MEMS sensors, including accelerometers, gyros and IMUs
- Manage the portfolio of MEMS designs and intellectual property
- Collaborate with electronics, packaging, testing and qualification teams
- Work closely with customers to align product development with requirements
I am looking for someone with experience in some of the following areas:
- PhD in engineering with strong knowledge of mechanics, physics and sensors
- Around 5+ years of experience in sensor design
- MEMS sensor design, analytical modelling and layout
- Strong FEM simulation and post-processing expertise
- Understanding of system-level requirements and qualification standards
- Innovative and collaborative approach to problem-solving
