Opportunity:

We are looking for a Social Media Intern to join our vibrant team in Paris, near Beaubourg. This role offers a unique opportunity to work directly with the Director of Communications, helping to grow XRPL Commons' digital community across platforms like Twitter/X, LinkedIn, and Instagram. You'll play a key part in shaping how we engage our global audience and foster awareness of the XRPL ecosystem.

Who You Are:

• You thrive in an environment focused on collaboration and purpose-driven work.
• You're eager to learn about blockchain and communicate complex topics clearly and creatively.
• You have experience managing social media accounts (personal, school, or professional).
• You are self-motivated, take initiative, and are comfortable with feedback.
• You have strong communication and writing skills in both English and French.
• You are familiar with tools like Canva, Buffer, or similar platforms.

Responsibilities:

• Schedule, plan, and publish social media content across XRPL Commons' channels.
• Write and translate posts in English and French.
• Collaborate with the Director of Communications to shape and execute social media strategy.
• Monitor and analyze key metrics—followers, engagement, impressions—to optimize growth.
• Track blockchain and community trends to inform relevant and timely content.
• Partner with other teams (Education, Corporate Adoption, The Aquarium Incubator, Events) to promote their initiatives.
• Work with the design team to create engaging visuals and assets.
• Engage with the community by responding to messages and comments.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, journalism, or a related field (or ongoing studies).
• Experience or coursework in social media management.
• Familiarity with community management and online engagement strategies.
• Creative eye for digital content and visuals.
• Strong organizational and collaboration skills.
• Excellent communication in both English and French.

Nice-to-have:

• Exposure to blockchain technologies
• A passion for technology, particularly blockchain or emerging tech.
• Video or Photo skills for social media.
