If you're ready to join a dynamic team of Personal Assistants to gain a first experience as a Personal Assistant, this internship is tailor-made for you.

This is a multifaceted internship experience where you will learn from A&O Shearman colleagues of various seniority levels.

Your role as a Personal Assistant intern

Provide comprehensive support to lawyers and contribute to the efficiency of Practice Groups :

  • Assist with document layouting, printing, filing, and archiving
  • Draft and proofread documents
  • Engage in research and translations
  • Support database management (e.g. CRM)
  • Handle administrative tasks, including expense management, timesheets and tasks related to matter management
  • Manage schedules, coordinate travel arrangements, restaurants bookings and small events
  • Provide help on ad hoc projects and tasks

Who are we looking for:

  • You are in your last year of Bachelor studies (Office Management, Management Assistant, etc)
  • You are a native French or Dutch speaker, with a good understanding of the other language, as well as an excellent command of English
  • Your organizational skills are top-notch
  • You demonstrate precision and resilience in your work
  • You have a good command of MS Office
  • You are a fast learner and have a hands-on mentality
  • You are open to work from our offices in Brussels or Antwerp
  • You are looking for an internship between Jan 2026 and May 2026
