Key Responsibilities

La Maison Partners is looking for a highly motivated and talented student to support its fast development and be part of an ambitious project.

The intern will assist

the investment team throughout the different phases of the investment process:

Sourcing

: analysis of market sector dynamics for potential investment opportunities, attend relevant meetups, conferences and accelerator demo-days to find the best investment opportunities, database analyses

·
Deal execution

: evaluate investment opportunities, be part on the initial contact with founders and co-investors to collect core information about their businesses, meeting with management teams and prepare investment materials to support investment committee recommendations

The intern will also be involved in: (i) the monitoring of portfolio companies, (ii) the deal-flow management and (iii) will support the reporting activities for the LPs.

Qualifications

La Maison Partners is looking for a student with the following qualifications: 

· Currently being in its 2
nd

or 3
rd

year of a top business, engineer school or university

· Fluent in French and English

· Genuinely interested in digital and technology spaces as well as in startups

· Strong analytical and financial skills

· Hardworking, agile and autonomous personality

· Excellent written and oral communication skills with capacity

· Skilled at using computer applications (Microsoft pack) especially Excel and Powerpoint

· Display a professional attitude and the highest levels of ethics, integrity and confidentiality in business dealings

· Previous experience at an investment bank, a consulting firm, a PE or VC firm, a start-up or a top tech company
