Electronics After-Sales Technician

This role is part of our ET/UT product line.

As a Technician at the Paris Service Center, you will develop in-depth expertise in the technologies used in our non-destructive testing devices and contribute to the strengthening of the team's technical skills. You will support local operations to ensure optimal autonomy and work closely with experts located in France and Quebec.

You will actively participate in the timely completion of calibration and repair operations for our equipment.

The position requires a strong foundation in electronics, a keen eye for detail and excellent communication skills to assist technicians, coordinate information internationally and interact with customers on technical issues.

Occasional trips in France or Europe may be necessary.

As Electronics After-Sales Technician, you must be able to

• To develop an in-depth knowledge of our families of equipment using ultrasonic and magnetic techniques.
• Perform calibrations and preventive maintenance of Eddyfi instruments to ensure their proper operation.
• Diagnose breakdowns, make necessary repairs and perform final quality control.
• Analyze electrical schematics, identify defective components and possibly propose technical solutions to technical specialists in service centers.
• Manage several technical files simultaneously with rigor and precision.
• Ensure consistency and reliability of data in the monitoring databases, properly documenting problems encountered, solutions and technical observations.
• Use and update Salesforce and JIRA databases; Previous experience is an asset.

• Diplôme en électronique ou en instrumentation/mesure.
• Solide expérience en électronique et en dépannage technique, avec un minimum requis de 5 ans en conception ou maintenance d'équipements électroniques.
• Disponibilité pour des déplacements ponctuels, y compris en Europe si nécessaire.
• Capacité à travailler dans un environnement orienté satisfaction client.
• Grande rigueur, sens du détail et capacité à tenir une documentation précise.
• Aptitude à apprendre rapidement et à acquérir une connaissance approfondie des produits.
• La compétence de brasage et de reprise des composants BGA et PQFN est un atout important.
• Excellentes aptitudes en communication.
• Une bonne capacité en anglais oral et/ou écrit est un atout.
