We're a one-of-a-kind marketplace for buying and selling special objects Each week we offer over 75,000 unique items in auction, carefully curated by our passionate in-house experts.

Having sold over 20 million unique objects to date, we're on a mission to become the world's most popular destination for special objects. As a growing, diverse and sustainable scale-up, we proudly live by our core values:

  • Taking ownership and driving impact
  • Being open to change and feedback
  • Being passionate about our mission and our customers.

If these values resonate with you, we'd love to explore how you can join us on this exciting journey

About the role

We are seeking a candidate with deep domain expertise in modern watches — from entry-level luxury brands such as TAG Heuer and Longines to high-end timepieces by Rolex, Audemars Piguet, and Patek Philippe. Experience with vintage watches is a strong advantage.

In this role, your knowledge and experience will be essential in upholding the high standards of our marketplace. You have a keen understanding of what captivates collectors and watch enthusiasts, and you will apply that insight to evaluate exceptional timepieces, support the growth of the Watches category through strategic sourcing, foster seller excellence, and contribute valuable market insights.

You will assess lot titles, descriptions, and images, providing accurate and realistic valuations based on your in-depth expertise. When a submission does not meet our standards, you will handle rejections professionally and courteously, ensuring clear communication and maintaining trust with sellers.

We are looking for seasoned professionals — such as curators, boutique sales managers, sourcing specialists, watchmakers, or passionate collectors — with a profound understanding of the watch market.

What you'll do
  • Lot Evaluation: Review watch submissions, including descriptions and images, and provide accurate value estimates based on current market conditions.
  • Expert Curation: Accurately assess, validate, and curate high-end watch listings, ensuring they meet our standards for authenticity, quality, and relevance.
  • Seller Development: Support professional sellers by offering expert feedback, improving listing quality, and guiding pricing strategies.
  • Submission Review: Accept or reject watch submissions with professionalism, offering clear and respectful communication to sellers.
  • Trend & Pricing Insight: Monitor global market developments and provide strategic input on pricing and sourcing to align with user demand and market trends.
  • Sourcing Strategy: Identify and engage with high-potential sellers and collections to increase supply of high-quality exclusive timepieces.
  • Category Growth: Collaborate with the Category Manager to shape the Exclusive Watches strategy, supporting growth campaigns and identifying opportunities.
  • Cross-functional Impact: Work closely with sales, marketing, product, and operations teams to elevate the user experience and marketplace quality.
What you'll bring
  • Proven and demonstrable expertise in luxury and exclusive watches, with a strong understanding of brands, complications, condition, and valuation.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in the watch industry, such as auction houses, online marketplaces, high-end retail, horology, or as a professional collector.
  • A sharp commercial mindset - you understand how to develop sellers, scale sourcing, and drive pricing strategy.
  • Confidence and tact in communicating rejections or feedback to sellers.
  • A strong understanding of the exclusive market segment (€1,000+) and how to match supply with collector demand.
  • Solid computer skills, including proficiency in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, etc.) and the ability to work efficiently with online platforms and internal tools.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills; fluency in English is essential, and additional European languages are a plus.
  • A reliable network in the luxury watch space is an asset.
Where you'll be

The role is open to candidates based in the Netherlands, Germany, or other countries in Central or Eastern Europe, and offers a remote work arrangement. Candidates based in the Netherlands are expected to work from the office 1–2 days per week, while those located outside of the Netherlands can work 100% remotely.
