The role
We are looking for an Account Executive – Retail & Sales Activation to manage and gradually develop a portfolio of existing clients, with a strong focus on retail performance and field execution.
Working closely with the Client Director and operational teams, you will contribute to the design, coordination and success of in-store activations, drive-to-store campaigns and supplementary sales force programs across retail networks.
This role is ideal for a hands-on, client-oriented profile with first solid experience in retail or field marketing, looking to grow in a fast-paced operational environment.
Key responsibilities
Client account management
- Manage a portfolio of active brand and retail clients as a day-to-day point of contact
- Build trusted working relationships with marketing, trade marketing and sales teams
- Coordinate multiple retail activations simultaneously (multi-store, multi-city, multi-week)
- Ensure responsiveness, reliability and professionalism in demanding retail contexts
- Contribute to client satisfaction, operational quality and performance delivery
Pre-sales support & recommendations
- Understand client needs related to in-store activation, traffic generation and sales support
- Contribute to commercial recommendations (activation mechanics, staffing, deployment plans)
- Support cost estimations and budget preparation for retail activations
- Participate in proposal writing, quotations and activation roadmaps
- Coordinate internally to secure feasibility, staffing and timelines
Operational coordination & campaign follow-up
- Brief operational project managers and field supervisors clearly
- Act as an interface between clients and operational teams (brand ambassadors, sales reps, supervisors)
- Monitor campaign execution and support on-the-ground adjustments when needed
- Contribute to post-campaign reviews (KPIs, learnings, optimization recommendations)
Account development – existing clients
- Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities within existing accounts
- Propose recurring, seasonal or complementary activation solutions
- Support account growth in collaboration with the Client Director
Sales administration & reporting
- Ensure proper administrative follow-up of client accounts
- Manage purchase orders, contractual elements and billing inputs
- Keep CRM, commercial and project tracking tools up to date
Profile required
- 2 to 3 years' experience in an agency, field marketing or retail activation environment
(internships and apprenticeships accepted as part of overall experience)
- Bilingual English required
- First experience in client account management and internal coordination
- Strong interest in retail, in-store activation and field operations
- Business-minded, with sensitivity to performance, traffic and sell-out
- Excellent interpersonal skills and strong client orientation
- Ability to manage priorities, deadlines and multiple deployments
- Well-organized, reliable and detail-oriented
