THE ROLE
Askya is seeking a Venture Fellow for a 3-month remote term. This fellowship focuses on Research and Project Management. The successful candidate will be a core engine for the firm's market research and initiatives, working closely with the leadership team to map ecosystems and deliver projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deep-Dive Research:
Conduct thematic research on specific tech sectors (e.g., AI, Fintech, Logistics) and geographic markets within Africa to identify trends, white spaces, and regulatory shifts. - Project Management:
Support the execution of key initiatives, including ecosystem development, founder support capabilities and media. - Content Synthesis:
Draft high-quality reports, briefings, and presentations that translate complex data into actionable insights for the partnership. - Strategic Mapping:
Identify and profile key stakeholders, including potential partners, policy leaders, and ecosystem builders.

Key skills required for the role include excellent research and writing, highly organized with ability to manage multiple workstreams independently, deep understanding of Africa's economic and political landscape, execution mindset, perfectly fluent in English, and ideally French too.
