Job description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and well-presented Private Chef for the 2026 summer season for a position in a luxury villa in Saint-Tropez, France.
This is a relaxed yet high-standard household seeking an experienced chef with a background in Michelin-level restaurants or equivalent private/yacht experience.
The role involves preparing daily lunch and dinner for a family of four (two adults and two children aged 3 and 5), two staff members (simplified meals), and occasional family guests (up to 8 guests total for dinners). Breakfast is not required. When hosting dinners, lunch the following day is either skipped or simplified to allow the chef rest and recovery time.
Cuisine preferences include vegetarian, Asian-inspired, Mediterranean, and Italian.
Flexibility and creativity are key, with a focus on elegant, well-presented plated meals. The villa is equipped with a high-end open kitchen located in the heart of the home; the chef must maintain a professional appearance and clean working habits at all times.
The position offers one day off per week .
Accommodation is provided in a nearby private apartment, and the client will handle all rental arrangements.
A cooking trial may be arranged in either Saint-Tropez, prior to contract finalization.
The family is relaxed and respectful, valuing a warm relationship and long-term collaboration if the season goes well.
The role is ideal for a chef looking for a seasonal placement with a UHNW family offering excellent compensation, a supportive work environment, and high standards without overwork.
Chef must be self-employed and responsible for their own taxes and legal setup.
