Join a dynamic construction environment supporting multiple ongoing projects that require expertise in AutoCAD and SketchUp. This freelance role is ideal for a fast integrator who can efficiently produce floor plans, layouts, and elevations, as well as manage daily plan updates and assist with planning applications. The position offers a hybrid work model, combining remote flexibility with on-site collaboration in Grasse, France. Fluency in both English and French is essential, as you will interact with an international clientele and contribute to a team-oriented workflow. There is potential for this freelance opportunity to transition into a full-time position for the right candidate.

Responsibilities

  • Create detailed floor plans, project layouts, and elevations using AutoCAD and SketchUp
  • Update plans daily to reflect project changes and client feedback
  • Prepare and submit planning applications in accordance with local regulations
  • Collaborate with team members and clients, both remotely and on-site
  • Communicate effectively in English and French with international clients
  • Integrate quickly into ongoing projects and adapt to evolving requirements
  • Ensure accuracy and quality in all deliverables within set deadlines

Skills And Requirements

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and SketchUp for architectural design and drafting
  • Strong understanding of construction documentation and planning processes
  • Excellent communication skills in both English and French (spoken and written)
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a hybrid setting
  • Experience with project layouts, elevations, and planning applications
  • Flexible availability and willingness to be on-site as required in Grasse, France
  • Fast learner with the ability to integrate into multiple projects simultaneously
  • Degree in architecture, design, or related field preferred; open to recent graduates and experienced professionals
