This role is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a dynamic, ambitious team in Data Management. You will play a critical part in driving innovation and making an impact in the clinical research space, while enjoying a stimulating professional environment that encourages personal and intellectual growth.
Main Responsibilities
- Describe and document data, quality management rules, and access policies for a defined business domain.
- Support Data Owners in day-to-day governance and decision-making.
- Accelerate data quality improvement according to FAIR principles.
- Contribute to data documentation, metadata modeling, and governance frameworks.
- Map data objects, flows, and processes across the domain.
- Enrich and maintain the enterprise data catalog and business glossary.
- Define and document data lifecycle, integrity risks, and compliance requirements.
- Build remediation plans to address data quality or integrity gaps.
- Facilitate collaboration between business teams, IT, data functions, and subject-matter experts.
- Report progress, risks, and FAIR maturity evolution to R&D data governance bodies.
Requirements
About You
At Excelya, taking audacious steps is encouraged, so we're looking for individuals who are ready to grow with us and share our values.
- Experience: 10+ years of experience in data management in complex environments.
- Skills: Strong expertise in FAIR principles, data governance, metadata, and data quality, Solid understanding of at least one stage of the drug development lifecycle, Prior experience in pharma/R&D highly recommended (data types, regulations, scientific context).
- Education: Master's degree in Data Management, Life Sciences, Computer Science, or related field.
- Languages: French & English mandatory
