PMO (F/M/X)
Context
The IT PMO framework needs to be structured within the IT department. Therefore the PMO team is looking for a consultant to put in place the necessary PMO governance in place to ensure efficient project and portfolio management, risk and change management accross the IT portfolio of projects and continuous improvement within the PMO practice.

Objectives and deliverables
1/PMO Governance

  • Documented and maintained project management methodologies, standards, tools, and

templates.

  • Alignment of PMO practices with organizational policies and industry best practices.
  • Periodic reviews and updates of governance frameworks.

2/Portfolio & Program Management

  • Consolidated IT project portfolio overview.
  • Resource allocation plans and coordination records.
  • Monitoring reports tracking project progress, risks, dependencies, and inter-project impacts.

3/Performance Reporting & Data Analysis

  • Regular project status reports and comprehensive dashboards.
  • Defined and tracked KPI metrics for projects.
  • Reports presented to senior management and stakeholders to aid decision-making.

4/Risk & Change Management

  • Risk registers documenting identified risks with assessments and mitigation plans.
  • Established change control processes and records for project modifications.
  • Communication materials on risk and change status.

5/Continuous Improvement & Training

  • Initiatives and action plans driving PMO process improvements.
  • Implementation of digital tools and agile methodologies within the PMO.
  • Training materials and coaching sessions delivered to project managers and team members.
