In the Data Security and Valorization Solutions Department, our mission is to define, design and implement secure, stable, resilient and high-performance IT solutions for all Desjardins Group Security Office portfolio projects. Our vision is to be the gatekeepers of our security solutions and make sure they meet the needs of the organization and our members and clients. As a quality assurance specialist, you support IT efficiency. You design, configure, administer, maintain, upgrade and test the quality of business solutions, computer networks, management systems, programs and database servers in accordance with the organization's needs. You analyze and diagnose complex issues related to IT deliveries, rollouts, infrastructure operation, controls and quality assurance. You provide opinions in accordance with your discipline's rules and recommend solutions to improve and optimize standards, policies and programs. You propose implementation plans. You actively help establish and implement a quality assurance strategy for business solutions in a medium- to large-scale focus area. Your projects and initiatives require extensive knowledge of your line of work. You coordinate the planning, design and execution of projects and initiatives. You help solve complex problems using your analytical skills and detailed knowledge of your line of business. Coordination is critical. You interact with key players working in other fields. You serve as a resource person for your unit, clients and partners. More specifically, you will be required to:

  • Coordinate the development of a quality assurance strategy for targeted teams

  • Identify, input, analyze and interpret data to support testing phases, implementation strategies, quality assurance testing, decision-making and processes that monitor the application of management policies and practices

  • Analyze risks. Write reports, propose solutions and make recommendations. Provide advice on how to implement recommendations

  • Prepare and recommend action plans to address issues in accordance with rules and parameters

  • Actively help develop, implement and update management policies, practices and standards

What you bring to the table

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field

  • A minimum of four years of relevant experience in end-to-end IT quality assurance and functional analysis

  • Please note that other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered

  • Experience designing integration testing strategies

  • Knowledge of French is required

  • Proficiency in QA management software (Jira, Xray)

  • Knowledge of automated testing

  • Knowledge of software packaging
