Depuis plus de 50 ans, ROYAL CANIN est un leader mondial de la nutrition santé pour les chats et les chiens. Nous recherchons un(e) Responsable Global du Traitement Thermique pour occuper le rôle principal de management technique en matière de procédés de stérilisation à travers nos opérations mondiales. Ce poste d'expert au sein de Q&FS garantit la standardisation, la conformité et l'amélioration continue sur tous les sites de production internes et externes, conformément aux normes Mars et aux exigences réglementaires.

Quel profil recherchons-nous?

  • Diplôme B.S. ou M.S. en sciences, ingénierie (mécanique, chimique, alimentaire) ou discipline technique équivalente.
  • 5 à 10 ans d'expérience en tant qu'autorité en traitement thermique en R&D, avec une expertise reconnue des opérations en usine.
  • Expérience confirmée dans l'industrie du traitement thermique, incluant la conception d'équipements de génie des procédés et les systèmes de contrôle.
  • Capacité démontrée à travailler avec une large gamme d'équipements et de procédés de fabrication alimentaire (ambiante, réfrigérée, congelée).
  • Excellentes compétences en collaboration, révision par les pairs et transfert de connaissances, avec aptitude à former et guider les experts locaux.

Quelles seront vos principales responsabilités?

  • Diriger la standardisation et la mise en œuvre des normes de traitement thermique à l'échelle mondiale chez Royal Canin, en assurant la conformité réglementaire et la validité scientifique pour la sécurité alimentaire et la stabilité des produits.
  • Soutenir le développement, l'évaluation et la validation de nouvelles technologies et procédés de traitement thermique, y compris la conception de procédés sûrs et la réalisation d'expériences avec analyse de données.
  • Fournir des évaluations de risques expertes, des conseils techniques et des recommandations d'amélioration continue concernant les équipements de traitement thermique, la conception des procédés et la validation des systèmes électroniques.
  • Promouvoir la communauté de pratique du traitement thermique en facilitant la collaboration, le transfert de connaissances et la formation des experts locaux et des équipes à l'échelle mondiale.
  • Servir de point de contact principal avec les autorités réglementaires sur les questions de traitement thermique et contribuer aux spécifications techniques et au soutien des installations pilotes.
  • Développer des outils et des systèmes pour surveiller les écarts, suivre les améliorations et piloter les initiatives opérationnelles et d'investissement pour la stabilité des produits.

For over 50 years, ROYAL CANIN has been a global leader in health nutrition for cats and dogs. We are seeking a Global Thermal Processing Leader to serve as the principal technical authority for sterilization processes across our global operations. This expert role within Q&FS ensures standardization, compliance, and continuous improvement across all internal and external manufacturing sites, in alignment with Mars standards and regulatory requirements.

What Profile We Are Looking For

  • B.S. or M.S. in Science, Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Food), or a related technical discipline.
  • 5–10 years of experience as an R&D Thermal Process Authority, with expert knowledge of factory unit operations.
  • Demonstrated industry experience in thermal processing, including process engineering equipment design and controls.
  • Proven ability to work with a diverse range of food manufacturing equipment and processes (ambient, refrigerated, frozen).
  • Strong collaboration, peer review, and knowledge transfer skills, with the ability to train and guide local experts.

What Will Be Your Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the global standardization and implementation of thermal processing standards across Royal Canin, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and scientific validity for food safety and shelf stability.
  • Support the development, evaluation, and validation of new thermal processing technologies and processes, including designing safe processes and conducting experiments with data analysis.
  • Provide expert risk assessment, technical guidance, and continuous improvement recommendations related to thermal processing equipment, process design, and electronic system validations.
  • Champion the Thermal Processing Community of Practice by facilitating collaboration, knowledge transfer, and training of local experts and teams globally.
  • Serve as the key liaison with regulatory authorities on thermal processing matters and contribute to engineering specifications and pilot plant support.
  • Develop tools and systems to monitor deviations, track improvements, and drive operational and investment initiatives for shelf stability.
