Overview
Wecheer is entering its next growth phase, and we're looking for a founding CTO to build and scale with us. This isn't a job description. It's an invitation to build the technology backbone of a company that's rewriting how global CPG brands directly connect with customers and consumers on their indirect sales route to market.
Why This Matters
Wecheer started as a managed SaaS platform helping top-tier FMCG brands connect with their consumers at any point of sale. Now, with strong enterprise traction and new funding ahead, we're transitioning to a (hybrid enterprise +) self-serve SaaS model. We need a technology leader who can bridge hands-on engineering with visionary system design, someone who can build fast, ship value, and lead a team toward product-market excellence.
Your Mission
- Evolve Wecheer into a true enterprise SaaS platform, faster to deploy, easier to scale, and ready for global clients.
- Architect for scalability, modularity, and compliance, building a long term growth
- Embed AI into both the product and the way we build, accelerating quality and delivery.
- Shape and mentor a high-performance engineering culture grounded in speed, ownership, and craft.
- Work side by side with the founders as a peer and long-term owner.
You Might Be Right For This If
You've built or scaled SaaS products end-to-end, ideally on AWS/.NET or a similar modern stack.
You've helped take a product from ~$2M to $20M ARR - you understand what real scale feels like.
You've led teams through both creation and growth, from first lines of code to a product used at scale.
You see technology as leverage, not complexity. You're energized by the realities of a startup, the pace, the pivots, and the shared responsibility that comes with real ownership.
You care about product quality, velocity, and people equally.
The Realities
You'll inherit a product that works but needs to scale, some parts solid, others ready for serious rethinking. Expect to refactor, rebuild, and make tough trade-offs fast. You'll code, design, recruit, and decide, all in the same week.
