Lead Free2move's global insurance and risk programs across all business lines — Carsharing, Vehicle-as-a-Service, Rental, and Subscription — operating both directly and through franchise networks.
As Global Insurance & Risk Manager, you will own the design, implementation, and optimization of global insurance frameworks, balancing innovation with financial discipline.
Your mission: protect our mobility operations while strengthening profitability.
What You'll DoStrategic Leadership
- Define and execute the global insurance & risk strategy across all business models.
- Design scalable insurance solutions (traditional or self-insured) to support growth.
- Ensure insurance structures align with Free2move's financial and product strategies.
- Oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of insurance programs: from partner negotiation to compliance and financial tracking.
Business & Financial Management
- Treat insurance as a P&L lever — model risk economics, claims impact, and profitability.
- Partner with Finance and FP&A to optimize reserves, premiums, and exposure.
- Lead data-driven risk transfer or retention strategies (insurance vs. self-insurance).
Program Design & Operations
- Manage insurance programs for Carsharing, VaaS, Rental, and Subscription.
- Negotiate with insurers, brokers, and TPAs to set optimal coverage and costs.
- Supervise claims performance and ensure operational excellence across regions.
Data, Tech & Analytics
- Develop risk dashboards and integrate insurance data into Free2move's ecosystem.
- Collaborate with Product and Tech to automate policy management and claims workflows.
- Use analytics and AI insights to enhance pricing, underwriting, and design decisions.
Compliance & Governance
- Ensure compliance with international insurance regulations and licensing.
- Oversee audits and risk reviews with Legal and Finance.
- Implement strong internal governance frameworks across multiple jurisdictions.
- Master's degree in Insurance, Risk, Finance, or Law.
- 10+ years managing insurance programs or fleet/mobility risks at global scale.
- Proven track record in both traditional and self-insurance models.
- Strong negotiation background with insurers, brokers, and MGAs.
- Deep business acumen with direct P&L accountability.
- Tech-oriented mindset and experience in SaaS or mobility environments.
- Hands-on leader comfortable in high-complexity, cross-border contexts.
