Reporting to Senior Fixed Income Managers, this role provides support in managing investments for Scor Group entities across Europe, the USA, and Asia.

The Assistant helps with day‑ to‑ day cash management and assists portfolio managers in executing investment decisions in accordance with Group guidelines and targeted asset allocation. The position offers a unique opportunity to work in an international environment and to develop expertise across a broad range of fixed income asset classes-including government bonds, agencies, covered bonds, Mortgage‑ Backed Securities, and investment‑ grade credit-primarily in EUR, USD, and GBP.

Key duties and responsibilities

The key duties and responsibilities of the position include the following:

Day-to-day cash management

Assess daily cash positions for group entities across Europe, USA, and Asia

Liaise with local entities to gather information on potential cash needs and releases

Portfolio Management

  • Assist long‑term fixed income portfolio managers in deploying investment programs and performing simulations to optimize risk‑reward profiles
  • Monitor various metrics across portfolios (individual issuers performance, asset allocation, accounting gains, guidelines)
  • Validate daily valuation reports
  • Maintain and monitor the list of authorized money market funds (due diligence, selection, and follow‑up)

Cross-functional missions

  • Participate in drafting investment committee materials and other relevant documents
  • Contribute to the improvement of management process through the development of tools using VBA and AI (Copilot)

Required experience & competencies

Experience:

  • 1-3 years experience as a portfolio management assistant or as a risk officer in asset management

Personal Competencies:

  • Good verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Strong work ethic with attention to detail
  • Work well as part of a team
  • Flexible and adaptable, capable of delivering results under time pressure
  • Proficiency in programming with VBA or Python

Required Education

Master's in Finance, Economics or an equivalent in other science disciplines
