The Linguistic Program Manager plays a critical role in supporting data and vendor operations across ASR and TTS initiatives. This includes managing communications with third-party vendors, coordinating data collection and quality workflows, and assisting with contractor onboarding and tracking. The role requires strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to balance multiple responsibilities across data, legal, and finance processes.

What You'll Do

  • Support the sourcing and purchase of off-the-shelf and custom ASR datasets in coordination with internal stakeholders and external vendors.
  • Set up and manage audio data collection and QA projects using internal tools, including phrase pool creation, QA report review, and feedback consolidation.
  • Coordinate the delivery of evaluation and commercial TTS voices from external providers, and help track license usage and expiration timelines.
  • Manage Upwork contractor workflows: post jobs, screen applicants, handle contract setup via DocuSign, assign internal points of contact, and track contract timelines and payments.
  • Collaborate with internal legal, finance, and engineering teams to ensure smooth execution of purchase and service processes.

What You'll Bring

  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to track multiple workflows and meet deadlines.
  • Comfortable communicating with both internal teams and external partners across time zones.
  • Tech-savvy and detail-oriented; experience with tools like spreadsheets, QA platforms, and freelance platforms (e.g., Upwork, DocuSign) is a plus.
  • Experience or interest in speech technology (ASR/TTS) or data coordination is preferred but not required.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills, with a proactive mindset and a problem-solving attitude.
