About The Role
We're looking for a Tooling Engineer to design and build the tools that enable our autonomy and ML teams to move faster. You'll work across simulation, visualization, and data infrastructure to improve the way engineers develop, test, and validate autonomy algorithms.

This is a highly versatile role combining strong software engineering with a deep understanding of technical users. You'll own the architecture, development, and deployment of tools that become essential to our autonomy and ML teams.

Responsibilities

  • Design and maintain tools for flight simulation, software-in-the-loop (SIL) testing, and data visualization
  • Develop interactive dashboards for telemetry playback, flight trajectory visualization, and sensor data exploration
  • Create dataset management and annotation tools for ML workflows

Candidate Requirements

  • MSc or BSc in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Robotics, or equivalent professional experience
  • Strong software engineering experience in Python and C++
  • Experience developing simulation, visualization, or data analysis tools (robotics, aerospace, ML, or automotive)
  • Familiarity with Unreal Engine 5 is a plus
  • Experience with open-source flight controllers like PX4 or ArduPilot is also a plus.
  • Communication & Influence: Excellent written and verbal communication in French and English, capable of leading diverse principals – from junior members to senior executives.
