Context:

To its customers in the aerospace sector, ALTYS proposes test tools to automate testing of their own hardware. Over the years, ALTYS has gained a widely recognized reputation for delivering easy-to-use and operate tools, with useful capabilities that facilitate our customers' validation processes.

To support testing of new hardware or features, the tool needs to evolve to incorporate new protocols and interfaces.

You will be joining the "Datalink Solutions" team and will take part in development of new communication components.

Goal:

Develop, test and integrate (into ALTYS testing platform) new protocols for the support of new datalink layers (OSI Layer 2) and new interfaces for remote testing of avionics computers.

Activities:

Working in an « agile » environment, and your missions will be:

· Get knowledge and understanding of applicable (published) standards

· Make preliminary design of targeted software modules (main functions and interfaces)

· Develop the software module

· Validate development through "Low Level" automated Tests (ALTYS labs and testing environment)

· Integrate developed module in operating binary

· Validate testing capability of third-party hardware (Customer labs and testing environment)

· Update documentation

Knowledge to be gained during the training:

· Avionics bus and applicable standards

· Development of Protocol entities (modular use)

· Development of embedded software

· Aeronautical Telecommunication Network and Air Traffic Communications

Your profile :

· In the last year of a training level "BAC +5" (completing a master's degree)

· Strong interest in software development

· Good knowledge of ANSI-C and C++ (must have)

· Desired knowledge: Network protocols

· Decent level of technical English (interview of applicants to be conducted in English)

Conditions:

Internship, 6 months long, gross salary (1100 to 1400 € /month depending on cursus and targeted graduation), luncheon voucher, public transport refund for 75%.
