Opto electronic Architect

In the morning, you challenge a customer specification on a new lighting module.

In the afternoon, you are in the lab debugging the first prototypes and trying to understand a fault.

In between, you have laid the foundations for an electronic architecture that will hold up in series production.

If this scenario appeals to you, LASER ON Consulting is looking for an Electronic Architect for Lighting Modules (M/F) to work for one of its automotive clients in Maine & Loire (49).

In concrete terms, you will be responsible for the product architecture from A to Z: black box and white box functional analysis, breakdown into functions, definition of expected performance, drafting and refinement of HW and SW specifications. You will structure the requirements, justify your choices and set the acceptance criteria. DFMEA, risk management and proof of concept are part of your toolbox.

You will explore several architectures, weigh up their advantages and risks, support the teams during the initial trials, contribute to failure analyses and work in close collaboration with the design teams and other departments (software, electronics, validation, quality, etc.).

To succeed, you will need solid experience (approximately 10 years) in systems architecture on complex systems, proficiency in reading and analysing technical documents and datasheets, and an ability to get different departments talking around the table. Professional English is essential.
