About the role / Segment

We are looking for a highly motivated, creative, and energetic Senior Software Development Engineer to strengthen our hardware prototyping Software Development team in France or Germany. You will be working in an international team with fellow development engineers, as well as quality assurance, customer support, documentation, and product marketing engineers.

The primary job responsibility will be to develop Linux/Windows desktop applications and Linux applications running on embedded platforms.

Job Responsibilities

Develop new competitive functionalities and support the existing software solutions.

Analyze requirements and contribute to all levels of architecture and development.

Participate in software design, code reviews, and technical documentation creation

Ensure appropriate quality software by creating automated tests on a regular basis and then maintaining them.

Qualifications

Bachelor's/master's degree in electrical engineering or related field

Experience in Software Engineering

Strong team player with good spoken and written communication skills in English and French/German

Excellent knowledge in object orientated programming with C++ according to C++11 or later

Advanced Experience in creating abstract software architectures for Windows and Linux

Good exposure to algorithm designs, data structures and problem solving

Experience with script languages (TCL, Bash, Python)

Experience in Qt programming

Beneficial Skills

HDL experience (either Verilog or System Verilog)

Perforce, GIT, Jenkins

Ability to work in a dynamic environment
